It has a excellent a'la carte restaurant which serves locally sourced food and a superb selection of real ales.Recomended by CAMRA in The good Beer Guide. There is a large covered heated smoking area and terrace seating in excess of sixty people. Coaches are welcome. There is a pool table and dart board.
